The Town of Boxford, MA
The list of the 20 wealthiest Massachusetts communities from the 2010 census data is out and the town of Boxford falls into the top 10.
With a median household income of $166,761, Boxford ranks in the sixth spot behind Wellesley (5), Dover (4), Carlisle (3), Weston (2) and Sherborn (1) with a $186,058 median income. Rounding out the top ten were Winchester (7), Sudbury (8), Wayland (9) and Concord (10).
Boxford, Winchester, Wenham (16) and Andover (19) are the only north of Boston towns to make the top 20 list. The other 15 are located west of Boston.
